Summary: “It’s Thanksgiving. Want to skip that long, insulting conversation about how you’re still single? About how your parents really want more grandchildren? Well, look no further!

I am a 23 year old felon with a dirty old antique motorcycle. I can play anywhere between the ages of 20 and 29 depending on if I shave. I’m a line cook and work late nights at a bar. If you’d like to have me as your strictly platonic date for Thanksgiving, but have me pretend to be in a very long or serious relationship with you, to torment your family, I’m game.

I can do these things, at your request:

Openly hit on other guests while you act like you don’t notice.

Start instigative discussions about politics and/or religion.

Propose to you in front of everyone.

Pretend to be really drunk as the evening goes on (sorry, I don’t drink, but I used to. A lot. Too much in fact. I know the drill).

Start an actual, physical fight with a family member, either inside or on the front lawn for all the neighbors to see.

I require no pay but the free meal I will receive as a guest!”

Or the one in which Jim posts an ad mostly as a joke and gets an unexpected response.

You know what’s a dynamic that I rarely see talked about? It’s Janeway’s and Tuvok’s friendship from Voyager. I love it so much and it rivials Jadzia and Sisko in terms of best Star Trek friendships for me. And I wish it was just talked about more, as they’re just so good and it was one of my favourite things from Voyager. It honestly is my favourite dynamic on Voyager and will it ever stop bothering me that it’s not really talked about? No

On that point, I also wish Tuvok in general was a character that got more attention, and I don’t think I understand why he isn’t really a talked about character, as honestly he is my favourite on Voyager. Yeah, basically I wish there was more content,  acknowledgment and general love for Tuvok, he deserves it.

I love Tuvok! I think he’s honestly the best insight into Vulcan culture. I love Spock and T’Pol, but they both had internal conflict about their identities as Vulcans and their relationship to Vulcan culture, whereas Tuvok always seemed so much more secure in his identity, I think possibly because he’s older than them. He was such a cool character.
